The Grand 8 Sailors Circle was founded and is led by Steffen Liess and Gregory Boisdet, long time friends and passionate offshore sailing mates.

They imagined and created the Enola Sailing Project to fulfill their passion and share it along with their skills and experience with other sailing enthusiasts; under their Skippers Crew expert guidance, they want their Members Crew of all sailing levels to fully enjoy their passage onboard, in the best possible fun and relaxed manner while developing seamanship and maritime awareness in a safety environment.   

Their ultimate goal with this project is to organize the Enola Grand 8 Expedition. Planned to start in 2028 for a period of about 4 years, it will be a 30.000+ nautical miles voyage around the Americas, sailing through the iconic Northwest passage and all the way down to the North Antarctic peninsula.
