meet the boat captain
Gregory Boisdet
A sailing enthusiast since age 6, I am a dedicated professional skipper with a high level of respect, knowledge and understanding for yachting.
Since 2018 and as a full-time skipper I’ve logged upwards of 50’000 nautical miles, skippering deliveries and leisure crafts which have brought me to sail a number of yachts ranging from 30 to 70-foot LOA. As it turns out, an over 10-year previous experience as site manager in construction translates well in the boating industry and gives me valuable organizational skills as well as a head start troubleshooting and tackling mechanical issues.
It is said that I’m a good communicator and I am told that I’m appreciated as a team leader. Be it on board or ashore my people skills are an asset. My grasp of French, English, Spanish and Italian, along with being comfortable in Catalan and with notions of Portuguese, also comes handy when dealing with multinational / cultural crews as well as with local authorities and craftsmen during stopovers. I am a passionate sailor with a professional attitude and a healthy understanding and respect for the sea, always putting the safety of the vessel and its crew first.
